"Аrtist's Morning Coffee" Print on Canvas 20x24 inches, Signed and Numbered Limited Edition Giclee
This work of Alexey Antonov is called “The Artist’s Morning Coffee”.
The master invites us into his private world.
A laconic triad for the morning ritual - a coffee pot, a cup and an azalea branch fascinate with its vibrant elegance.
The composition is quite simple and uncomplicated, but the execution is shockingly naturalistic and meticulous.
On the stone tabletop graces an elegant coffee pot with an intricately curved handle and spout. Master Antonov, with inimitable skill, conveyed the noble silver weight of the metal in the best traditions of the Italian and Old Dutch school of still life.
The refined shape of the coffee pot, the pattern of the bezel and the curved outline of the handle are in harmony with the delicate porcelain cup.
The cup is decorated with a miniature pattern that is in coloristic consonance with a branch of a magnificent, lush azalea.
The flowers themselves are painted with extraordinary mastery and details, striking in their realism.
The combination of two contrasting colors - burgundy and white, shaded by dark green foliage, creates a feeling of an early fresh morning - and the promise of a beautiful day.
Strokes of dark burgundy and garnet colors with delicate yellow dots of stamens attract the eye. The curves of silk petals compete in beauty with a coffee set.
A cup with an elegant silver spoon froze in anticipation of a stream of aromatic drink and the first touch of the artist, who - look closely at the game of reflexes on the coffee pot- who do you see there? He is already approaching and ready to start a wonderful day?
